Traffic is the word!  Online marketers know this word too well. It is the one thing that brings in the monetary reward for all online businesses.

Much work needs to be done if you are expecting tremendous traffic coming in to your website. It is no easy task, but it is achievable. Here are some tips to bring in the traffic; the list is by no means exhaustive.

Aim to get a big number of links to your website. You can achieve this by trying to get to the top spot in Google. It is the place where you will be able to attract more attention, readers and links going back to your website. Links do imply that you have content that is good enough to make readers return to your site for more.

(2) Showcase your skills

You may have certain skills that you can show off on your site. Use them to your fullest advantage. Skills can be from areas such as writing articles, publishing reports, or being great at conversations through your blog.  Get your articles into article directories such as Ezinearticles or Articlesbase.
